Our Vision and Values
With open minds and loving hearts, we will achieve.
'This school allows students to flourish in whatever they want to do and our school will support them.' (Year 6 pupil)
We encourage our children to have open and enquiring minds in order to enjoy their learning. We seek for our children to have loving hearts, to look after others locally and globally thus contributing positively to society. We aspire for all children to achieve their full potential by always doing their best.
Our Christian Values are woven through all that we do at school; a golden thread that teaches our children to be kind, openhearted and empathetic. Our broad curriculum gives pupils relevant learning experiences to help them navigate their world and develop positive relationships with themselves and others.
We value every aspect of the curriculum and tailor it to the needs of our unique, inclusive school community, providing opportunities to develop a lifelong love of learning.
Our School Values
As a school we aim to live according to the Values described in Galatians 5, in order that we might be like the Good Samaritan (Luke 10) caring for those around us, even those who are different to us.
We have chosen 8 core Values to focus on and these have been assigned to each class and to the staff team.
Friendship | Reception and Pre-School |
Truthfulness | Year 1 |
Forgiveness | Year 2 |
Respect | Year 3 |
Thankfulness | Year 4 |
Compassion | Year 5 |

Pupils are awarded Values stickers where they demonstrate that they are using our Values in their daily lives.
'This school has a good sense of community and respect. Our Christian Values hold up the pillars of our school and makes an easy and compassionate learning evironment.' (Year 6 pupil)
