Our Eco Warriors
As a school we feel passionately about re-cycling and doing what we can to help make our planet a better place.
We already recycle, batteries, crisp and biscuit packets, toothpaste and toothbrushes and we are a named terracycle collection point.
Our Eco-Warrior group work hard to model how we move forwards as an Eco-School. From turning out lights to researching key issues.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our recycling project.
Since 2019 Clifton Primary School has been recycling a wide variety of items including:
Crisp packets, beauty care packaging, biscuit and cake wrappers, bread bags, pringle tins, toothpaste and toothbrushes, nut, popcorn and pretzel packaging, LOL doll packaging, confectionary wrappers, printer inks, and donated pens to Abbots Farm School.
Since we started recycling in 2019, we have diverted 1644.29Kg of waste from landfill and raised £2300.
